Examples of homestay accommodation

You can choose from 3 different meal plans depending on whether you wish to share meals with your hosts or you prefer a more independent lifestyle – Bed & Breakfast, full-board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner ) or half-board (breakfast and dinner). Students will eat whatever the family eats and help set the table or clear up after dinner. You are also encouraged to participate in family activities or outings.
Vegetarians or people with food allergies should let us know their eating options when booking so this can be shared with families before arrival.
The host will provide room in the fridge and pantry to store any food that students may purchase.

As a participant in the homestay program, you will become an extended family member of one of our host families. You can practice your Spanish, learn about Cuban culture, and develop bonds that will last a lifetime. Our host families are willing to give their time to you, helping you to feel comfortable and welcome. Before you leave home, you will receive the address and contact details and a profile of your host and their location.
