All course fees must be received before the homestay starts. 25% deposit to be paid once our proposal has been accepted and the outstanding balance to be paid no later than 2 weeks before arrival.
I understand that fees cannot be refunded after the homestay has ended and that it is my responsibility to take out personal insurance prior to arrival.
Lessons missed by students due to illness or absence will not be refunded.
I understand that Homestay Spanish Immersion in Santiago de Cuba reserves the right to change the host family and area should they judge it necessary.
I understand that during excursions, activities such as sport, entrance to cultural attractions etc. are at my own expense.
Under no circumstances can Homestay Spanish Immersion in Santiago de Cuba be held responsible for any injury, damage loss, delay or accident which may happen during the student's stay with the teacher and family, or as a result of activities they take part in during their stay, or whilst travelling to and from the teacher's home, or for loss of property.
Neither Homestay Spanish Immersion in Santiago de Cuba nor the teacher and family are responsible for students' personal possessions. It is an explicit condition of enrolment that students accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused by them to the teacher's property during the course.
Homestay Spanish Immersion in Santiago de Cuba cannot accept any retrospective claim or complaint. Any complaints will be dealt with during the course with great delicacy and tact. If necessary, we will move the student to a new teacher and family with a minimum of disruption. Notification of any problem is the responsibility of the student.
Cancellations for any reason up to 10 working days before the homestay starts - any fees paid will be refunded, minus £150 administration charge.
Cancellations less than 10 days but more than 4 days before the homestay starts - 50% fees refunded.
Cancellations within 4 days of the beginning of the homestay - no refund given.
In the event of 'force majeure' such as fire, flooding, airport closures due to volcanic ash clouds etc, no refunds will be given but we will endeavour to offer an alternative date.
